Yes, My Queen - Chess Roguelite - Demo
A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
The chess roguelike. Play game-changing cards, bend the rules, save your Queen, and escape from the dungeon.
This demo includes:
- First 3 bosses
- 10+ intermediate chess levels
- 40+ magical cards

Defeat opponents of ever increasing difficulty to escape from the dungeon.
- Build your chess army. Start with just a few figures and recruit more as you go.
- Collect cards to turn the tides of the battle.
- Defeat each enemy Queen on your way to freedom.
- Befriend or Date your (former) opponents!

Play cards to bend the rules of the game in your favour and win against unbeatable opponents.
Spend mana to play cards such as:
- Summon a Shape Shifter that transforms into a random figure each turn.
- Start a zombie outbreak - zombie figures do not care for the colour and attack white or black equally.
- Launch an ICBM nuke.
- Build walls and traps.
- Launch a propaganda campaign to turn enemy figures into your colour.
- And many others!

To win you either need to get smarter or to get stronger.
With every game you accumulate mana to buy new cards and chess pieces that stay with you in each new run. Maybe you would even get a chance at escaping from the dungeon.

Some of your upgrades will persist between runs, helping you to get closer and closer to the exit. Some will reset with each new run, making each new game unique.

What an awesome take on the chess roguelike subgenre! Definitely one of the better chess-adjacent indie games I've tried!
Hovering over enemy pieces should let you know what they do - some pieces are very confusing.
Thanks, I will add that!
